Should I file a discrimination/harrassment complaint at my job?
I work at a place where we have a security guy. He gotinto it with another female coworker real bad on day. I was out sick with strep and knew nuthin of it. I come in the next day n he is botherin me bout my earrings. Threating to write me up. My manager does care but I listened to the other guy whose also like my manager n he asks nicely for me to take em out. My manager tells me he is bothrin me cause him n her got into it. She is my friend n ppl who r he friend there get the gaurds attitude. He has been like that ever since and I have been ignoring him. So the past few days he's been buggin me bout takin my badge off n I have been but I sit it on the table with my water bottle or off to the side on the bleachers where we sit for meetings. I have a problem with puttin something that touches my mouth occasionally in those lil baskets where ppls sweaty bands, wallets n stuff go. Creeps me out...and dude steps way too cxlose in my personal space whinnin n fussin about me puttin on the bleacher. I told him what's ur problem its right where u can see it isn't on me. He keeps droning on and on said if I hav a problem with it take it to the office. I'm behind the desk now headin to the bathroom and he goes you need to quit mumbling like a child. I said I'm not mumbling I'm speakin loud and clear enough for u to hear me. And he says something I don't hear n follows up with "you lady, boy, whatever yor trying to be dressed like that." I work in a warehouse first of all sooo wearin clothin for girls is a no and not to mention my sexual prefference is known. I don't flaunt it nor hide it. I dress boyish always. Is this grounds to file a discrimination/harrassment complaint and what may or may not happen?
