Why does Dappy from N-Dubz think he is tough?

I know this may sound like a stupid question, or easy to answer (being he is just a fool). But why Dappy, that little annoying rapper from N-Dubz act as if he is really tough. He think he is some sort of gangster from a bad background and tough upbringing but he is from a very wealthy background and not a 'ghetto' and is also of Greec origin and is not a black rapper like he portrays. He apparently threatened to kill a female caller who said things about him on a radio show and starting sending her text messages threatening her. Who does this little rat think he is, it baffles me to think this poor specimen of a human being actually believes he is an intimidating character.
