What is a good self tanning lotion that doesnt streak or leave you orange?

ive never tried any and i want to be tan for going out. i dont wanna spend alot of money either. im very very fare skinned. are all self tanners gradual tanners too? i want a lotion that will do the job right when i put it on or at least within a few hours of puttin it on.
