How can i stop cats digging up my plants?and shittting in them?

its not my own cat,she dont do it,on her own turf,but ive tried everything puttin down pepper,lemon,garlic,fresh squeezed lemon,but this ginger cat keep digging up new plants it a flooking pain in the @rse,and its too fast for me to catch!any ideas please?
